Hello! I'm Brennan Reid and the proud owner and creator of Aristotle Organizing Inc. I am happily and newly married to my wife, Elena Loyacono. We live in Brooklyn, NY with our two kitties, Lilith and Puck (Robin Goodfellow.). I graduated from Marymount Manhattan College with a BA in Theatre Performance/Musical Theatre and a minor in Philosophy. In my non-organizing time, I am a playwright, lyricist, actor, and singer. In the theatre world I have experience not only writing and performing, but also building sets and organizing various spaces, including costume departments. I have also provided consultation for actors, artistic directors, composers, dancers, directors, playwrights, and producers.
Over the last five years, of running Aristotle Organizing Inc, I have been a member of the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals (NAPO) and was a part of the local New York Chapter for several years. I have organized in nearly every space imaginable including; houses, townhouses, penthouses, medium/large businesses as well as taught packing and unpacking techniques to schools/businesses/individuals and managed home/business moves and downsizes.
Aristotle Organizing Inc was created in 2018. The name itself took almost six months to come into existence. The name is one of the most important parts of my business. Aristotle was a famous Greek philosopher who wrote one of the most, if not, the most influential book on playwriting called, The Poetics. The Poetics had major influence in my life, leading me as a playwright in my off-business time/days, pushing me as an artist and a creator. Aristotle also had a heavy influence on the ideology of categories, although he mostly categorized words, I found this astounding connection with professional organizing because most of organizing is categorizing. Lastly, Aristotle was a philosopher who believed in a life of quality. One of the most important things in life is to find something's function and beauty and I personally find organization as the root of function and beauty.
Although Aristotle Organizing Inc mainly services moves, I have experience doing it all. I have unpacked, organized, and decluttered everything from A-Z, including armoires, bedrooms, closets, files, offices, theatres, and zen spaces. (Did you notice the order of my list?) If you don't see something listed, please don't hesitate to reach out and ask if we cover it. I will be honest with you and let you know if I or one of my team members has experience covering the area you need edited, moved, or organized.
As a last note, Aristotle provides several services that will enhance your organizational skills, promoting a more functional home or business. Not only will your environment appear more spacious and organized, it will operate to suit your personal needs and preferences.

Eco-Friendly
Aristotle Organizing Inc focuses on the best ways to declutter, unpack, and organize so every step is streamlined. At Aristotle, we try to guide clients on organizing skills, so no one relies solely on organizing products to become organized. Many organizers overuse plastic containers to stay organized, but this ends up hurting the environment and the client. If there are too many products or too many of the wrong products, it only facilitates confusion, not support. Aristotle will also help guide you on the best places for your donations and recycling so that your items don't end up in landfills.
One and Done
Aristotle Organizing Inc's goal once entering a client's environment is help them become and stay organized. This involves a transfer of skills and organizational processes that are specifically tailored to each client. After working together we often find you won't need our services until your next move! That said, we typically recommend a 1-3 hour check up after 4-6 months of moving/organizing to see how you're functioning in your environment and to see if there's anything else we can do to further enhance your life style.
Artistic Prospective
Aristotle Organizing Inc prides itself in the ability to use artistic, philosophical, and innovative techniques to becoming organized. Becoming organized is the process of having and maintaining beauty and function in your daily systems. Every person has their own system and by using different styles, philosophies, and mentalities we will find the best fit so you can easily repeat what we do day-to-day.
